One of the most frustrating things I see at technology events is the main attraction being a quadruped or humanoid platform that could be drop-shipped straight from an OEM catalog.
What makes it worse is watching the team pack it up after the keynote instead of reverse-engineering the gait controller, tracing the control bus, swapping the compute module, and using it as a real integration lab for engineers and students.
If all we do is procure, demo, photograph, and warehouse hardware, we are not building systems capability. We are just buying expensive stage props. Technology adoption is not the same as technology capability.

Angka tentang what makes it worse lebih masuk akal daripada kebanyakan pos.
Slightly disagree on tracing the control bus, swapping, but the direction is right. Still thinking this one through.
I have watched technology adoption go wrong in practice. Good to see it written down.
Whoever wrote this actually did the work on what makes it worse.
हमारी टीम अभी इस लेख पर काम कर रही है। उपयोगी।
reverse-engineering is the part I would forward to my boss.
The framing on demo, photograph, and warehouse hardware is better than expected.
This is where drop-shipped finally clicks.
Kalau ada lanjutan tentang what makes it worse, saya pasti baca. Layak ditelusuri lagi.
Sent this to two people already. demo, photograph, and warehouse hardware is why.

First piece I have read that treats demo, photograph, and warehouse hardware honestly. Still thinking this one through.
Worth reading for what makes it worse alone.
The bit about drop-shipped is what I keep coming back to.
أعجبني الجزء المتعلق بـ هذا الجزء لأنه عملي وليس نظريًا فقط.
Good write-up. reverse-engineering alone was worth teh read.
I do not fully buy tracing the control bus, swapping yet, but it is a fair argument.
