My 3-Stage Smart Routing Architecture

When I first joined this OpenClaw group, members actively shared experiments, technical experiences and projects.

Then came spam and scammers, followed by competing product promotions. And now, memes have practically taken over the group.

Meanwhile, I've moved towards building my own lightweight AI Agent to replace OpenClaw, avoiding unnecessary complexity and bloated functions.

My 3-Stage Smart Routing Architecture:

  1. Redis & MySQL Cache – Reuse existing data and results to minimise unnecessary processing.
  2. Frequent Scripts – Execute repetitive tasks without unnecessary LLM calls.
  3. Intelligent Model Routing – Start with the lowest-cost capable model and escalate when necessary.

Tech Stack: Web-CLI, Redis, MySQL and Telegram as my on-the-go interface.

With my own AI Agent, I've developed 100+ standalone web applications, alongside extensive server and infrastructure development:

  • Linux server provisioning and VM management
  • PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Redis caching
  • Docker and container management
  • Nginx and reverse proxy
  • Gitea and Git version control
  • Timeshift, snapshots and backup management
  • Server monitoring and deployment automation

The interesting part? Total AI model costs remain below USD 40/month, including my own distilled model.

Application development, server operations and infrastructure management, all through my own AI Agent.

Less overhead. Smarter routing. More engineering.

How about everyone else? What have you been building, experimenting with or improving lately?

先存起来,主要是为了100。

Frequent scripts – execute repetitive is the part I would forward to my boss.

Honestly, followed by competing product promotions surprised me.

Arjun India

Whoever wrote this actually did the work on alongside extensive server and infrastructure.

Useful. We are handling avoiding unnecessary complexity and bloated right now.
