AZR did not begin with everything in place. It began with a passion for herbs and natural materials, accumulated experience, a willingness to learn, and the courage to try. These foundations shaped the company's practical, structured approach to product development.
The company's roots lie in the herbs and natural plants familiar to everyday life — including ginger, turmeric, roselle, black seed, tongkat ali and kacip fatimah. Rather than leaving tradition behind, AZR combines traditional knowledge with modern, systematic production processes suited to the current industry.
AZR learned that having a formula alone is not enough. Understanding raw materials, product stability, packaging, labelling, documentation, production processes, regulatory requirements, market expectations and customer trust all matter. These lessons were built up over years of practice.
The development of the business was supported by institutions including the Johor State Agriculture Department. A meaningful milestone came when Qell Infinite Resources received packaging-related grant support — a step that helped elevate product presentation and deepened understanding of packaging development.
What began as a mother-and-daughter journey grew into a full family undertaking as the next generation joined. The family learned together, supported one another, and built the business through shared experience, persistence and trust.
